"Inspired by the great peace march of Israeli and Palestinian women, we joined forces with musician and activist Yael Deckelbaum in 2016 and 2017 to call for a peace march in Berlin; the Pulse of Peace was born. As the initiator of this movement, I was very fortunate to have a woman like Julia Buschmann by my side. She captured many powerful and moving scenes on film for all of us. In addition to the two marches in 2017 and 2018, Julia put a lot of effort into compiling and documenting teasers and interviews. As part of the Pulse of Peace Festival, Julia made an impressive short film based on the children's play "A Drop of Honey," which was performed at the Tiyatrom in Berlin in 2017. The videos atmospherically show the traces of former Jewish life in Remseck, southern Germany, which are still visible today. The films have a very beautiful musical background and many detailed shots as well as perspectives ‘from above’, drone shots. Thank you for the extraordinary images, even for those who know the area. "Inspiriert vom großen Friedensmarsch der israelischen und palästinensischen Frauen haben wir gemeinsam mit der Musikerin und Aktivistin Yael Deckelbaum 2016 und 2017 zu einem Friedensmarsch in Berlin aufgerufen; der Puls des Friedens ist entstanden. Als Initiatorin dieser Bewegung hatte ich das große Glück, eine Frau wie Julia Buschmann an meiner Seite zu haben. Sie hat viele kraftvolle und berührende Szenen für uns alle auf Film festgehalten. "Mit ihren drei Filmen über die jüdischen Spuren in Remseck hat Julia Buschmann eine fast vergessene Geschichte wieder ins Bewusstsein der Menschen gerückt. Die Videos zeigen atmosphärisch die Spuren des ehemaligen jüdischen Lebens in Remseck, Süddeutschland, die noch heute sichtbar sind. Man bekommt ein Gefühl für die Bedeutung der ehemals großen jüdischen Gemeinde und den Verlust, den ihre Auflösung verursacht hat. Die Filme haben einen sehr schönen musikalischen Hintergrund und viele Detailaufnahmen sowie Perspektiven „von oben“, Drohnenaufnahmen. Danke für die außergewöhnlichen Bilder, auch für diejenigen, die die Gegend kennen. Die verschiedenen Interviewpartner erzählen interessante Geschichten. Geschichte ist spannend, wenn sie persönlich ist und erlebt werden kann. Das ist hier gelungen. Es war eine sehr gute Zusammenarbeit.“
